Wellness focuses on the balance of your physical, social, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, environmental, and occupational well-being. Many Eagle Health employees are at the forefront of providing health and wellness care to our government customers. They have been on the frontlines of research, vaccination, and disease prevention. Our team of experts continues to stand out for their efforts in understanding and fighting this global health crisis. One such employee, Samantha Cooper, was recently spotlighted with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence for her contributions. Samantha has stood out for her exceptional work, her positive attitude, and her willingness to get the job done. Eagle Health is proud to present her with a Tinàa Award. This award is bestowed upon employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.
Samantha is the Acquisition and Assistance Specialist for Global Health (GH) on the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Institutional Support Contract. She has worked with the Eagle Health team since March 2023. Her duties require her to provide guidance and support to GH on contracting and grant awards management related to the Bureau’s COVID-19 funding for a portfolio of projects supporting vaccine readiness and delivery; COVID-19 prevention, testing, and treatment; and related support for health system strengthening, supply chain management, and data information systems. She also coordinates, liaises, and collaborates closely with other Agency Bureaus, Independent Offices (B/IOs), and Missions on the programming and management of COVID-19 funds.
Samantha’s commitment to her work has not gone unnoticed. She has gone above and beyond to support USAID’s Bureau of Global Health. Nida Parks, Supervisor, USAID Bureau of Global Health, recently commented that “Samantha went above and beyond expectations in supporting USAID’s response to multiple COVID-specific audits. As a result, USAID has effectively responded to these audits and demonstrated the strength of our programming in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Samantha’s professional experience and support extend into her personal life. When she is not working, she enjoys her new garden, where she can use her vegetables to make spicy food and condiments, explore local nature trails, paint, and do yoga.
The Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence highlights exceptional employees. They are the employees who deserve to be spotlighted for exceeding their job requirements, bringing an extra level of commitment, and showing the customer what a Cape Fox employee stands for. Samantha’s steadfast approach to her work, efficiency, and dedication make her an incomparable team player, and Eagle Health is delighted to have her on our team. Thank you, Samantha!
