Many Eagle Health employees are at the forefront of providing health and wellness care to our government customers on the frontlines of research, vaccination, and disease prevention. Eagle Health employs a team of experts who often shine and stand out for their exemplary care of patients and commitment to the contract mission. One such employee, Jose Dizon, was recently spotlighted with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence for his contributions. Jose has stood out for his exceptional leadership skills, positive attitude, and willingness to strive for excellence. Eagle Health is proud to present him with a Tinàa Award. This award is bestowed upon employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.
Jose began working for Eagle Health in September 2022 as an Administrative Assistant – Global Health (GH) on the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Institutional Support Contract. Jose supports GH leadership on administrative matters relating to COVID-19 response activities. Jose is responsible for coordinating oversight, management, and maintenance of the program and project.
Jose has often stood out to the customer for his exceptional leadership skills and the dedicated administrative support he provides to GH leaders. Additionally, Jose willingly took on the added responsibility of directly supporting the team of Dr. Atul Gawande, Assistant Administrator of the Bureau of Global Health. Julie Wallace, Supervisor with USAID Bureau of Global Health, commented, “Jose recently joined as a Program Assistant to support the Global Health Bureau. Jose quickly became a trusted and reliable colleague and was asked to temporarily surge support to Dr. Gawande, Assistant Administrator (AA), Global Health direct team. This included full calendar management, scheduling, expense reporting, liaising with partners, and providing other many other above-and-beyond items with superior diligence.”
Jose’s wiliness to try new things and explore new avenues extends into his personal life. In his free time, Jose likes to bike around Washington, D.C. He loves to explore the city to find and dine at great restaurants. Plus, he is willing to take on a karaoke challenge whenever he is given the chance.
The Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence highlights exceptional employees. They are the employees who deserve to be spotlighted for exceeding their job requirements, bringing an extra level of commitment, and showing the customer what a Cape Fox employee stands for. Jose’s drive toward excellence and willingness to learn and explore new opportunities while remaining committed to his work has made him an extraordinary team player. Eagle Health is pleased to have him on our team. Thank you, Jose!
