CFFS Recognizes an Employee Whose Performance Ranks Exceptional

CFFS | Eagle Health | Employee Appreciation | NIH | NIH RML | security | Tinaa | Tinaa Award | US Army

Cape Fox Facilities Services, LLC (CFFS), a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, recognizes Samantha Poltera.  Samantha’s remarkable astuteness and swift actions prevented a potential security threat when she recently observed a contractor on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Rocky Mountain Laboratory (RML) campus violating the no video/no photography policy. Her immediate actions led to the identification of the individual and his immediate dismissal from the RML campus. She has stood out for her diligence and intelligence. As a result, on March 1, 2022, CFFS awarded Samantha with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award is presented to employees who stand out for their dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude. Samantha certainly exemplified this through her actions and abilities. She is an asset to the CFFS team and Cape Fox.

Samantha has worked for CFFS since June 2019 as a Security Officer supporting the Security Control Center at NIH RML in Montana. She performs foot patrols, controls physical access to campus, monitors alarm systems, operates a switchboard, monitors approximately 300 cameras, assists and dispatches on-site security and NIH Police utilizing a radio system, cameras, and access control programs.

Samantha performs her job exceptionally. The COR, Captain Ron Frost, said, “her ability to recognize a potential security threat to the campus shows an extra effort she puts into her duties to ensure a safe and secure environment, not only for RML but the NIH as a whole. Her attention to detail and situational awareness continues to exceed my and NIH’s expectations. It is because of her demonstrated observation and awareness skills, and dedication, that RML maintains a protected location.” Upon receiving this recognition by the customer, her manager, Jeff Mark immediately nominated Samantha for the Tinàa Award.

Prior to working with CFFS, Samantha worked with the Head Start program. She is a devoted mother to her young daughter but still enjoys taking time for outdoor activities like camping and hiking. Samantha’s dedication in her personal life follows her into her career. She is a dedicated employee who takes great care and whose intelligence and awareness have stood out to the customer and CFFS executives. She is an employee whose job performance ranks exceptional, and we are delighted to honor her with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. Everyone at CFFS is honored to have Samantha as part of the Cape Fox Team. Thank you!
