Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS), LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation subsidiary, posthumously awarded a Cape Fox Employee Spotlight Tinàa Award to Chad Morphis. Chad was an exceptional employee on the CFFS behavioral health contract with the United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Chad passed away on January 20, 2025. CFFS wants to spotlight an amazing person, coworker, and family member. A service will be held at the National Cemetery later in the year. Dates have yet to be confirmed. CFFS would like to honor Chad’s memory and commemorate his impact and contributions to our team by creating a challenge coin in Chad’s honor. The military uses a challenge coin, a small medallion, to symbolize a soldier’s membership in a unit, achievement, or affiliation with a special event or mission. In this case, CFFS memorializes Chad’s service and contributions to the contract’s mission and to his team of coworkers.
Chad began working with CFFS on the INSCOM contract in October 2024 as a Health Systems Specialist. During his brief tenure with the US Army Office of the Command Surgeon Team, Chad consistently demonstrated exceptional performance and dedication. His unparalleled drive and initiative in implementing processes and developing systems for the Command Surgeon’s Office were only surpassed by his professionalism and expertise in executing his duties.
From the beginning, Chad was an invaluable asset to the Office of the Command Surgeon. He was pivotal in building the directorate’s website and developing executive-level matrices for data tracking while actively assisting team members in refining their products and deliverables. His contributions have greatly enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations. In addition to his technical and developmental accomplishments, Chad also stepped in on behalf of the Medical Readiness Chief, delivering numerous briefs to Senior Leadership. His responsiveness and capability in addressing inquiries for the Command Surgeon’s Office further solidified his reputation as a trusted and reliable team member.
As Jeff Mark, Program Manager and CFFS Director of Operations, remarked, “His outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on the Command Surgeon’s Office and the entire US Army INSCOM Team.”
CFFS was honored to have Chad as part of our team, even for a brief time. He left his mark through his expertise, innovation, and thoughtful approach. We will miss Chad and hope to honor him with this award.
