Cape Fox Mountain Point (CFMP) has been awarded a contract for Environmental Program Support for Poseidon Dredge Material Management Area (DMMA) Vegetation Clearing and Natural Resource Support by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mobile District. Under this contract, CFMP will provide comprehensive environmental and natural resource support services at the Poseidon DMMA in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
The focus of this contract centers on vegetation clearing and invasive species management. This effort directly supports the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, and the Navy’s natural resource management objectives at the site. All work complies with the dig permit requirements, the Sikes Act, and the Endangered Species Act, with monthly progress reporting to USACE.
“We understand our job is to protect the natural resources that exist alongside critical military operations,” said Jamie Palutis, Director of Environmental Services. “Our teams know how to execute environmental fieldwork safely, stay compliant, and deliver results the government can count on.”
