Cape Fox Mountain Point, LLC (CFMP) has been awarded a design-build contract to design and construct covered aircraft parking structures at Homestead Air Force Base, Florida. Under this contract, CFMP will deliver open concrete and structural steel aircraft parking shelters engineered specifically to protect composite fighter aircraft at Homestead Air Force Base.
The project includes corrosion-resistant detailing with galvanized components suited to the coastal environment; lightning protection and grounding systems per NFPA 780, AFI 32-1065, and UFC 3-575-01; and airfield apron integration per UFC 3-260-01 standards. CFMP will perform topographic surveys, geotechnical investigations, and wetland assessments while securing all required building, environmental, and FAA OE/AAA permits. Construction will be executed on an active, alert-capable airfield with strict mission-continuity coordination.
