Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary NAVAR was recently awarded a new task order to plan and execute the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Office of Planning and Environment Planning and Environment Workshop and Planning and Project Development Roundtable. These events support the FTA in sharing key information about project development and environmental considerations and provide transit agencies with information on pursuing FTA Capital Investment Grants. NAVAR has provided services to the FTA since 2022 and is excited to continue supporting the mission of the FTA to broaden awareness of ongoing transit initiatives nationwide. NAVAR is a premier government contracting provider for event management and marketing services with expertise in planning, promoting, preparing, and producing events that stand out and ensure program success.
The FTA is an agency within the Department of Transportation (DoT) that provides financial and technical assistance to local public transit systems, including buses, subways, light rail, commuter rail, trolleys, and ferries. FTA also oversees safety measures and helps develop next-generation technology research. FTA’s TCA office is the agency’s lead office for media relations, public affairs, and Congressional relations, providing quick response support to the agency, the public, and Members of Congress daily. The office distributes information about FTA programs and policies to the public, the transit industry, and other interested parties through various media.
This award builds on NAVARs experience supporting the event planning and logistical needs of the FTA and builds on the event planning expertise of the Cape Fox Federal Contracting Group.
