Cape Fox Communications (CFC) believes strongly in the welfare of our community. The message of unity and wellness is reflected in our mission. For this reason, CFC has devoted work and resources toward education and awareness of health and wellness which includes physical, financial, mental, social, and emotional health. To that end, Eagle Health distributes a quarterly white paper on an occupational health topic that devotes its research to the wellness of employees and community. September is Suicide Awareness Month, and in September 2023, Eagle Health released its white paper Suicide Awareness: A Nation in Crisis – Finding Hope Together. The Cape Fox Communications Team distributed this white paper digitally on the Cape Fox FCG website and social media platforms.
In July 2024, the CFC Communications team learned that this white paper is now an award winner. The DotCOMM awards recognized this paper with a Gold DotCOMM award for Content Marketing. This is a high honor that CFC and the Communications Team are proud to have received.
The topic of the paper discusses the impact of suicide on an individual and the community but offers hope. By raising awareness and working together, we can bring hope to thousands who struggle every day with mental health challenges. In addition to winning a Gold dotCOMM award, CFC Communications also received three honorable mentions for social media presence and video compilations. The competition is unique as it reflects the role of creatives in the dynamic web that is transforming how we market and communicate products and services. dotCOMM Awards’ categories are the elements of the web’s evolving tools. Interactivity, content, design, social media, video, apps, blogs, and influencers are all important components of digital public relations, marketing, and advertising campaigns.
dotCOMM Awards is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization oversees awards and recognition programs and honors outstanding achievement and service to the profession. Since 1994, AMCP has judged over 200,000 entries submitted from more than 100 countries and donated more than $300,000 to charitable causes. The dotCOMM Awards honor those companies who stood out for their award-winning digitally creative ideas.
Each year, the dotCOMM Awards receive over 2,500 entries worldwide. Only 22% of the entries win Gold, with another 15% winning Platinum.
