September 30th marks the end of the government fiscal cycle. This is often symbolized as a time that many contracts are awarded. Eagle Health was awarded one such contract with the General Services Administration (GSA). Eagle Health received a five-year Concessions Specialist Support Services contract. Eagle Health previously won this contract in 2020. Eagle Health is delighted to mark an additional five years of support for GSA.
GSA provides centralized procurement for the federal government, offering billions of dollars worth of products, services, and facilities that federal agencies need to serve the public. Their mission is to provide stewardship of the government’s use and provision of real estate, acquisition services, and technology. GSA provides workspace to more than 1 million federal civilian workers, oversees the preservation of more than 480 historic buildings, and facilitates the federal government’s purchase of high-quality, low-cost goods and services from reliable commercial vendors.
“At Eagle Health, we work closely with GSA to support their public service mission, address complex challenges, and create long-term value.” Harold Mitchell, JD, MS, President
Under the contract, Eagle Health provides personalized hospitality training and inspects cafeterias within the National Capital Region. We evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance in such areas as pricing, food quality, efficiency in food preparation and production, personnel staffing and supervision, sanitation, customer satisfaction, and management controls (e.g., projected monthly and annual operating statements and budget). Our employees are considered Subject Matter Experts on Federal and local concessions policies, rules, and regulations, as well as public health service and general concessions policies, rules, and regulations.
Eagle Health looks forward to continuing to provide the support services needed by GSA for the next five years.
