Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary Saxman One recently secured a new contract from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to support early care and education (ECE) initiatives managed by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF). As a government contractor, Saxman One provides premier event management and marketing services to numerous federal clients, such as the Department of Justice, the Department of State, and the Office of Naval Research. Saxman One now brings its expertise to HHS.
ACF operates as the largest human services agency in the federal government, administering over 60 programs that promote the economic and social well-being of children, families, and communities in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories, and federally recognized Tribes nationwide. Saxman One will work closely with the ACF Office of Early Childhood Development (ECD), Office of Child Care (OCC), and Office of Head Start (OHS) to provide comprehensive logistical and conference management support for national and regional gatherings, Tribal consultation meetings, training and technical assistance activities, and additional events. Specifically, Saxman One will help ACF advance its mission to expand access to high-quality ECE programs by:
- Identifying needs and requirements for events by preparing a budget of projected costs, recommending and acquiring meeting space, and developing, distributing, and conducting necessary pre-event materials and engagements.
- Communicating and marketing events by developing and distributing save-the-date announcements, invitations, web pages, registration forms, event distribution lists, and graphics/artwork for promotional materials, as well as translating materials, as appropriate.
- Providing on-site support for events by securing necessary audio and visual equipment and materials, recording and webcasting meetings, and taking notes.
- Developing and distributing relevant follow-up materials by designing evaluation forms, post-event communications, and closing any financial and logistical arrangements.
This award builds on Saxman One’s strong conference and event management portfolio. To meet ACF’s unique needs and ensure success, Saxman One has assembled a team with diverse leadership, communications, meeting planning, and logistical skills to staff the contract, many of whom have direct experience supporting ECD, OCC, OHS, and other human services programs.
