Recently, Eagle Health employee Ken Hughes was nominated and presented with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence for his adaptability, talents, and willingness to work as a team member. This award is bestowed upon employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.
Ken joined Eagle Health over a year ago as a Financial Systems Analyst Senior on the Defense Health Agency (DHA) contract in Colorado. Ken’s main duties include reconciling cash and transaction balances between the DHA’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and the U.S. Treasury. He also is in charge of record retention for all of DHA’s cash transactions. Ken brought over 25 years of experience to his position from working in the tech world in finance at Hewlett Packard Enterprise for over 25 years. He has proved to be an exceptional asset for Eagle Health now.
Ken’s colleagues at DHA appreciate his work and willingness to be part of the team. Dave Machuca, Accounting Analyst Sr. Lead, recently commented that “Ken has done a phenomenal job over the last year to learn Defense Health Agency—CRM processes to include recommendations for increased efficiency. Ken is well-respected and liked by his teammates and is always willing to help when needed. His teammates are also very impressed and most appreciative of his culinary skills!”
When Ken is not working, he enjoys cooking, especially for others, hiking, and watching TV and movies. The Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence highlights exceptional employees.
