A remarkable number of Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) employees stand out for excellence of work and commitment to success. Recently, one of Eagle Health’s employees exemplified this when she received accolades from the customer for her work. Diana Ir, Eagle Health employee on the DHA-CRM contract, stood out for her productivity, imagination, positive attitude, and storied approach to her work. As a result, Eagle Health is proud to present her with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award is bestowed upon employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.
Diana joined Eagle Health over a year ago as a Senior Health Care Data Analyst. She is committed to her job and finds the “magic” in her work. She was asked about her daily job duties, and she replied, “Imagine a detective, but instead of solving crimes, I help make sure healthcare dollars are spent wisely. I work with a team looking at tons of healthcare data, like sifting through clues. We want to find out where money might be going to the wrong place, like when a bill isn’t quite right. I help build tools to predict where these ‘mistakes’ are likely to happen. It’s like having a crystal ball that points us to the areas we need to check. To do this, I look at past data and try to find patterns. Then, I create pictures and charts explaining what we’ve found, so everyone can understand what’s happening. I also help figure out how to best check for these mistakes and share our findings with the people who can fix them. I’m always looking for ways to make our ‘crystal ball’ even better by learning new tricks and using more advanced technology. Basically, I help make sure the healthcare system is fair and efficient, one data point at a time.”
Diana’s high expertise and dedication got noticed by everyone, including the customer who remarked, ““Diana is always willing to take on challenges. Her willingness to learn and ability to hit the ground running on every project support process improvement and positive outcomes for the DHA payment integrity program. As just one example of her many contributions to the CRM-IPEB Team, Diana took the lead on a complex data pull needed for an urgent congressional response. Within 24 hours of receiving the request, Diana provided reports covering the entire life of both the East and West regional contracts. The work product was exceptional.” – DHA IPEB Team Lead.
As you can imagine, Diana is still finding ways to challenge herself and learn when she is not working. She enjoys rock climbing and going for runs that push her a little further each time. She also enjoys learning new languages, and she speaks five already. That does not mean Diana does not enjoy relaxing too. Even Diana likes to Netflix and chill with a good binge-worthy show.
The Tinàa Award is presented for Employee Excellence, and Diana exemplifies one of the exceptional employees deserving of this award.
