When Saxman One, LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, plans events, they appear seamless, but behind the scenes, employees work hard and excel at organization and preparation. This is why Saxman One stands out as an industry leader for managing and organizing events for our government customers. Saxman One staff are knowledgeable and hard-working. One employee, Maria Hrabak, recently stood out among an exceptional group of peers for her enthusiasm, adaptability, expertise, and positive attitude. As a result, Maria was presented with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award is presented to employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and a positive attitude. Maria exemplifies the attributes of this award, and Saxman One was pleased to honor her with this recognition.
Maria was an inaugural team member of Saxman One’s Early Care and Education Meeting Management Center Contract for the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. As a Logistics Coordinator, she provides services throughout the event planning and coordination lifecycle. For example, Maria builds websites to share event information with participants, manages the registration and evaluation processes, and provides virtual and on-site customer service to meeting attendees.
Maria recently helped Saxman One stand out to the customer in its first year of performance. In March of this year, the customer authorized a specific software solution for designing and publishing meeting websites, including registration and evaluation portals. No team members were familiar with this software, but Maria did not balk at the request or hesitate to familiarize herself with the product. In four weeks, she developed the expertise needed to successfully launch our contract’s first registration page in April. Each product Maria built was delivered well in advance of the contract deadlines, helping Saxman One build trust and credibility on this new contract. She also served as the team’s primary 508 remediator, applying her new skills in programming and web design so individuals with disabilities could access critical information through these websites. Beyond her technical skills, Maria is a reliable source of optimism and support for all colleagues, achieving so much with a huge smile on her face while lightening the load on those around her.

Maria brought decades of event and program coordination experience to Saxman One, and it has made her shine. Maria also finds pleasure in her personal life by spreading joy among her friends and family—particularly through the art of baking.
