On April 8, 2022, Eagle Health, LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, recognized two employees who stood out and continue to seek future learning and advancement. Ashley Anthony and Anthony Jones work on the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) contract. PBGC is a United States federally chartered corporation created in 1974. PBGC protects retirement security and the retirement incomes of over 33 million American workers, retirees, and their families in private-sector defined benefit pension plans. Eagle Health provides management, administrative, and technical support for the Workplace Solutions Department. Ashley and Anthony are two Eagle Health employees who have stood out for their dedication and commitment to the contract’s mission. They are an asset to Eagle Health.
Ashley Anthony started working with Eagle Health in July 2021. Ashley is the Administrative Support/ Secretary III on the contract. She assists the various Workplace Solutions Department staff with all administrative work required, such as scanning, filing, and updating floor plans for PBGC’s upcoming move to a new building. Ashley stood out for stepping up when it was needed. Ashley successfully led the Eagle Health team at PBGC by serving as acting Project Manager until the role was filled. The PBGC customer remarked that “Ashley was instrumental in rallying the team in successfully coordinating our furniture loan program.” Ashley’s organized, thoughtful approach to her work makes her an asset to the Eagle Health team and well deserved of this recognition. Ashley also has her sights focused on the future as she studies at Bowie State University, studying Business Administration.
Anthony Jones started with Eagle Health in June 2021 as Dock Manager, but he has been working as a contractor at PBGC for seven years. As Dock Manager, Anthony operates and manages the daily functions of the Receiving Area. He maintains PBGC service standards for safety, quality, service, delivery, and training and provides escorts to visiting contractors. The PBGC customer expressed their gratitude when Anthony went above and beyond his duties as the Dock Manager during the move activities for PBGC. Anthony loves watching sports, playing basketball, eating great food, and traveling to different places. Like Ashley, he has a sight to his future with interest in obtaining IT certifications that will help him transition into the IT industry.
