One Eagle Health team member recently stood out, though, for his motivational leadership skills. David Machuca works as a Senior Accounting Analyst and Alternative Program Manager on the Defense Health Agency (DHA) contract in Colorado. He was recognized for inspiring his team and leading them to distinction with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence—an award presented to individuals who exemplify dedication, outstanding performance, dependability, productivity, and a positive attitude.
David has worked on the Eagle Health DHA contract for eight years. He oversees a staff of 21 professionals across Accounting, Budget, Systems Support, and Improper Payments. His team is responsible for making timely, interest-free payments, processing modifications, and conducting audits for more than 30 Defense Health Agency contracts, managing the disbursement of over $25 billion annually.

When David is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, working on cars, and has been involved in soccer for over 20 years as a former player, coach, and referee.
