On July 22, 2020, Eagle Health was honored to award Dr. Oluwayomi Adekeye with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award of Excellence. Dr. Adekeye is the Occupational Health physician for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Occupational Health Services Department. She has worked for Eagle Health since 2019, overseeing the Surveillance Programs and is responsible for the occupational health medical care for all FDA employees and contractors.
During these unprecedented times, many of the Cape Fox medical professionals have had to add new functions and have even volunteered additional support to research, test, or provide guidance on COVID-19. Manager for FDA Occupational Health Services, Jeannine Ervine-White, nominated Dr. Adekeye because she stood out among many for her leadership and guidance during these times. Jeannine said, “Dr. Adekeye has been the medical “bones” of the FDA Occupational Health Program. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty by taking on multiple tasks and projects in addition to seeing clients. She makes herself available to provide guidance, training, and coaching on all areas of the OHS program for our FDA clients and all of her Eagle Health colleagues. She does all of this without complaint. Along with the FDA’s Chief Medical Officer, she is the COVID-19 medical point of contact for the FDA. Dr. Adekeye is kind, caring, and is great to work with.”
Eagle Health is honored to employ nurses and physicians who have been called to the front lines during these times. We thank all of our front-line workers. We are pleased to award one of those workers, Dr. Adekey, who has shown real leadership and compassion. Eagle Health is privileged to have her on our team.
