Occupational health services have become an essential benefit within our federal agencies. These services promote and administer services to enhance employees’ physical and mental well-being. Eagle Health, LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, is a leader in providing occupational health services. One of the reasons Eagle Health has stood out as a leader is its exceptional employees. One such employee, Keturah Constant, was spotlighted with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence for her hard work, positive attitude, and willingness to always be of assistance when needed. Keturah is a Certified Medical Technician for Eagle Health’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Occupational Health Service contract. Eagle Health proudly awards Keturah this award, which is given to employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.
Keturah joined Eagle Health eight months ago. She brought substantial experience in providing nursing and patient care. At the FDA, her assigned duties include updating medical records in the Electronic Medical Record System, addressing emails from the clinic inbox, maintaining a clean and organized clinic, providing direct patient care such as taking vital signs, performing basic laboratory procedures, such as collecting blood specimens, testing specimens and recording results, and administering treatments, immunizations, and medications. She manages patient appointments, maintains lab inventory, does daily spirometry and Iodometry tests, takes clinical notes, and performs several administrative tasks as assigned.
Over the past year, Keturah has increased her workload without question to assist her team when they were down two nurses. She performed duties such as managing patient appointments, maintaining lab inventory, performing daily spirometry and Iodometry tests, taking clinical notes, and performing several administrative tasks as assigned.
Her excellent work and attitude have not gone unnoticed. Eagle Health’s Director of Operations commented, ” Keturah has stepped up to fill gaps for our team in a major way. Her hard work and dedication ensured that our team remained successful during some lean times.”
This is well-deserved and high praise for Keturah, whose hard work, positive attitude, and dedication to the patients have made her a remarkable team member and an outstanding employee of Eagle Health. We are delighted to have her on our team. Thank you, Keturah!
