Eagle Health, LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, has stood out for its expertise in medical research as the government and organizations expand their focus on providing health and wellness programs to employees. One of the reasons that Eagle Health shines above other contractors is our team of experts, who stand out for their exemplary care of patients and commitment to the contract mission. One such employee, Dawn Petruzzello, was recently recognized by our government customer and the Eagle Health executive team for her hard work, commitment, and technical knowledge. As a result, in September, Eagle Health presented Dawn with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence for her contributions. Eagle Health proudly presents her with a Tinàa Award, which is bestowed upon employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.
Dawn began working for Eagle Health in September 2021 as Service, Equipment, and Supply Contract Administrative Support/Team Lead on the U.S. Army’s Telemedicine & Advanced Technology Research Center’s (TATRC) contract. Her responsibilities include preparing procurement packages for services, equipment, and supply contracts, including developing written requirements documents; assisting end users with market research and development of the Independent Government Estimate (IGE); creating purchase requests; facilitating requirements through the award process and providing post-award management for service, supply and equipment contracts including working with CORs, contractors, contracting agencies, or Defense Finance Accounting System (DFAS) to resolve any billing or payment issues and ensure documentation is maintained in electronic databases.
As an Army Medical Research Lab, TATRC develops advanced medical technologies to optimize Warfighter performance and casualty care, focusing on the critical areas of computational biology, medical modeling and simulation, healthcare information technologies, and operational telemedicine. The TATRC COR recently recognized Dawn for her efforts to get SQL software installed at the agency. She has been working with TATRC to get the software in place to support one of TATRC’s new missions. Dawn stood out for her continuous dedication, hard work, and effort that went into completing this project. She proved her expertise, knowledge, and commitment to the contract’s mission. Project Manager Courtney James commented, “Dawn was recognized for this effort as well as for her consistent, professional service to the customer. She is dependable, professional, and her agency knowledge is unparalleled.”
Dawn has been a devoted asset and part of the TATRC organization for 20 years. However, she is just as loyal outside of work to her family. In fact, she is also married and getting ready to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary and has two daughters, who are 10 and 15. She likes to joke that she is her daughters’ Uber driver in her spare time as she drives them to dance, field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. She loves watching them with all their activities, but field hockey is her favorite! She loves traveling and seeing new places.
The Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence highlights exceptional employees. Dawn’s expertise and level of commitment to her work have made her an extraordinary team player. Eagle Health is pleased to have her on our team. Thank you, Dawn!
