Eagle Health, LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, has long been known as an industry leader in healthcare services because of the expert, quality care our employees provide to their patients. Our employees have been recognized for their compassion, knowledge, creativity, and dedication. Eagle Health is delighted to spotlight one such employee, Suzanne Maggioni. Suzanne is a licensed Physical Therapist on the Eagle Health contract with the U.S. Army to provide Physical Therapy Services. Suzanne has proven herself an exceptional employee and a compassionate patient-provider. Suzanne has a strong commitment and passion for her work, leading her to produce continuous excellence and strive for mission success. As such, Eagle Health presented Suzanne with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award is given to employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.
Suzanne Maggioni has been a Physical Therapist with Eagle Health since 2021. After graduating from Armstrong State University in 2018 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, she gained experience in orthopedic care with an emphasis on the diagnosis and management of a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Suzanne is particularly interested in treating spine-related pain conditions and is dedicated to ongoing learning and hands-on skill development. Suzanne has been credentialed as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through NSCA since 2013, and she became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) in 2022.
Since working with Eagle Health, Suzanne has pursued her interests and strengths as a physical therapist serving active-duty soldiers at Ft. Stewart in Georgia. She has excelled as a highly regarded member of her team. She enjoys the work’s collaborative nature and the physical therapist’s increased responsibility as a primary care extender. She regularly sees patients in a direct access capacity. She has willingly taken on a more significant role in the medical care of her patients, from ordering timely and appropriate imaging to referring patients to other specialties when indicated. One of the things that has set Suzanne apart is that she adopts a patient-centered approach. She takes the time to provide expert orthopedic evaluations, patient education, and an individualized physical therapy treatment plan.
Suzanne’s excellence has not gone unnoticed. The customer recently commented, “Dr. Maggioni exhibits professionalism at all times. She has gained the respect of her peers and her supervisors. She has been named in 6 positive Interactive Customer Experience (ICE) comment cards over the past 12 months. Her JOES patient satisfaction rating over the last 12 months is over 90%, which ranks as one of the top 2 providers in our section. Dr. Maggioni is an exceptional employee.”
When Suzanne does not provide clinical care, she enjoys spending time with her husband, parents, and German Shorthaired Pointer. She has always been passionate about art and music, and her favorite hobbies in her downtime are playing piano and creating custom pet portraits.
Suzanne is a remarkable member of the Eagle Health team, and it shows in the quality of the care she provides to her patients and in the cooperative nature she embodies. Eagle Health is proud to spotlight this exceptional employee. Thank you, Suzanne!
