Cape Fox Corporation’s (CFC) subsidiary, Eagle Health, was recently awarded a five-year, firm-fixed-price contract to provide ongoing medical services to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of Inspector General (DOT-OIG). Eagle Health has become a leader in occupational health services across many federal agencies. As a result, Eagle Health’s expert medical services are much sought after by our customers.
Eagle Health is honored to advance the mission of the DOT-OIG by expanding the delivery of occupational health services and medical support. The Office of Inspector General plays a critical role within the Department of Transportation by strengthening the efficiency and effectiveness of DOT programs, safeguarding operations, and preventing waste, fraud, and abuse. Its personnel serve in locations across the country and include special agents who are sworn federal law enforcement officers. Because these individuals carry significant responsibility for public safety and often operate under hazardous and high-stress conditions, every applicant and employee must demonstrate physical, emotional, and mental stability. Under this contract, Eagle Health provides the medical support services that help ensure these officers remain capable, prepared, and mission-ready. These services include:
- Employing a Medical Review Officer who is equipped to evaluate exam results and is licensed to make medical clearance determinations.
- Performing medical examinations and screenings for all employees.
- Maintaining and storing applicant and employee examination and medical records in a secure system to safeguard these records for the life of the contract.
