Concentric Methods Recognizes an Employee with Confidence, Sincerity, and a Drive for Success

Concentric Methods | Department of Homeland Security | Employee Appreciation | OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH | Tinaa Award | US Citizenship and Immigration Services | USCIS | Wellness

Cape Fox Corporation retains a talent pool of experts that exemplify qualities that often afford them opportunities to stand out and lead others. Concentric Methods, LLC, a CFC subsidiary, is shining a spotlight on an employee whose expertise and dedication have stood out. Kyrie McKinney is an Occupational Health Nurse with Concentric Methods, working on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) contract. She began with Concentric Methods in March 2021, running the Wellness Clinic for USCIS. Kyrie’s knowledge and expertise, coupled with her compassion, professionalism, and dedication to her work, have been recognized by the customer, her patients, and the leadership of Concentric Methods. Kyrie has truly been an asset to the work being provided, and as recognition, she is being awarded a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award is presented to employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.

The USCIS is an agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security that administers the country’s naturalization and immigration system. Kyrie has supported the Wellness Clinic at USCIS’ headquarters even before starting with Concentric Methods and has been devoted to its operational success. Kyrie provides emergency medical response for life-threatening conditions that may require basic life support, an automated external defibrillator (AED), or administration of emergency medications while awaiting the arrival of local Emergency Medical Services (EMS). She provides convenient onsite care for minor illnesses and injuries to minimize unnecessary absences that may otherwise result in basic preventive health services and education to allow workers to maintain or improve their health to prevent the development or progression of chronic disease. She also delivers routine adult immunizations according to the guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), including Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), Tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis (Tdap), Influenza, and pneumococcal (pneumonia) vaccines. Kyrie has consistently demonstrated her reliability as a team player, her abilities as a healthcare professional, and her commitment to both Concentric Methods and USCIS.

Kyrie has stood out for her keen ability to successfully identify, analyze, and solve complex problems and reach sustainable solutions. She displays excellent organization and planning skills. She takes a systematic and consistent approach to organizing her work and presentation materials. Kyrie recently collaborated on developing the Wellness Center survey sent to each employee who receives services at the clinic. The feedback from the surveys received was an outstanding appraisal of Kyrie’s work for her patients. Examples of the feedback received include,

“Very professional and knowledgeable nurse on staff.”

“Amazing professional service!”

“Ms. McKinney was very professional and engaging. She made everything comfortable and easy.”

“Kyrie was very flexible, as this was not a normal flu vaccination day, and she was kind enough to take me.”

“The staff was great! I’m nervous around needles, and they were very helpful.”

“The Wellness staff are very friendly and accommodating.”

Jeanine Porter, Employee Programs and WorkLife Services USCIS Office of Human Capital and Training and Occupational Wellness Center POC, recently commented, “All constituents are extremely pleased with Kyrie’s responsiveness as a nurse. She is a consummate healthcare professional but also a caring, compassionate, and sincere person. I have unlimited confidence in her honesty, ambition, and abilities in her role as an Occupational Health Nurse. The dedication and commitment she provides to the clinic, employees, and colleagues are truly the ingredients that enable USCIS HQ employees to live the mission every day. “

The Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence is presented to employees who stand out for their dedication and attitude. Kyrie has stood out with her compassionate care of her patients, her communication abilities, her organizational skills, and her commitment and expertise in her work. When she is not working, Kyrie enjoys reading, drawing, traveling, adventure-seeking, and Do-It-Yourself projects. Kyrie is a dedicated team player who exemplifies the expertise and values that Cape Fox endeavors for its talent, and we are delighted to give her this recognition. Thank you, Kyrie, for being part of the Cape Fox Team!
