Concentric Methods Employee Leads with Expertise and Concern

Concentric Methods | DHA | Employee Appreciation | physical therapy | Tinaa Award

Concentric Methods, LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation subsidiary, is awarding Dr. Carolyn Steinlage a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence for her exceptional performance. Dr. Steinlage has been a Physical Therapist (Women’s Health) on Concentric Methods’ Defense Health Agency (DHA) task order at Camp Pendleton since October 2024. Already, her expertise and abilities have garnered her attention. She was recently awarded a “Good Catch Award” by the customer for providing excellent patient care. This award was presented to her for her quick thinking and expert differential diagnosis. The Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence is given to employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude. Dr. Steinlage is well deserving of this award because of her commitment to the mission and her compassionate and intuitive approach to patient care.

When Dr. Steinlage was presented her “Good Catch Award,” the customer commented that “Carolyn Steinlage evaluated a female patient for bilateral shoulder pain in early January that also presented with swelling and new onset of pain in her forearm. The patient had a recent history of bilateral mastectomy from breast cancer. Ms. Steinlage evaluated the swelling and symptoms and immediately directed the patient to the Emergency Department (ED) to rule out a blood clot/deep vein thrombosis (DVT). An upper extremity DVT was found via ultrasound at the ED, and the patient was released with appropriate medication and no further complications. Ms. Steinlage’s expert care allowed this patient to receive quick and needed care for a life-threatening blood clot.”

In her free time, Dr. Steinlage enjoys staying active with yoga, playing in her softball league, golfing, surfing, and walking her dogs. She is pleased to receive this award and plans to continue to support her team and treat her patients with the highest quality care possible. Per Dr. Steinlage, working at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton has been the most fulfilling role of her career. Serving those who serve our nation is an honor.

Concentric Methods is honored to have Dr. Steinlage’s expertise and thoughtful approach as part of its team, and we are delighted to present her with this award. Her dedication, professionalism, and compassion exemplify what the Cape Fox Tinàa Award signifies. Thank you, Carolyn!
