Concentric Methods, LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, is pleased to announce that the National Institutes of Health honored one of its employees with a National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Merit Award. Jennifer Sword was nominated by Anthony S. Fauci, M.D., for her outstanding accomplishments throughout the year for her work as a member of the Integrated Research Facility Select Agent Work Group. This is an exceptional honor, and Concentric Methods is proud of Jennifer’s achievement and recognition. She is a remarkable asset to the Concentric Methods’ team.
The NIAID conducts and supports research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases. Jennifer has been working with Concentric Methods since October 2019, supporting the NIH contract as a Biosurety Program Manager. Jennifer’s recognition was not a surprise to her Program Manager, Mark Owens, who commented, “Jennifer embodies a great combination of consistency and quality in all of her work. Seeing her efforts recognized by the highly respected Dr. Fauci is a great reminder that the work of our team members has a tremendous impact. I couldn’t be more proud to have her on our team.”
Since starting in 2019, Jennifer’s work has stood out. Her expertise and willingness to support the mission of the contract have been highlighted and prominent to her team members and the customer. She has been at the front lines of healthcare advancement and research. Her impact on the work is the motivation behind her recognition.
When Jennifer is not shining at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, her husband, two young daughters, and her pet family of two dogs and eight chickens. She also unwinds by painting, hiking, and camping (or glamping, as she noted).
The Concentric Methods team at NIH continues to make the entire Cape Fox family proud. Jennifer is well-deserved of this distinguished honor! Congratulations, Jennifer.
