Concentric Methods and Cape Fox Facilities Services Awards High Recognition to Outstanding Employees

CFFS | Concentric Methods | Employee Appreciation | Kelly Government Solutions | NIH | SOAR

Concentric Methods, LLC, and Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS), Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiaries, have stood out for innovative and value-centered expertise. The strength behind our success has always been our employees. On November 6-7th, Concentric Methods and CFFS held Distinguished Achievement Awards for those employees who have truly stood out as the best. The ceremony honored those employees on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Scientific, Operations, and Administrative Resources (SOAR) contract.  The ceremony was held at the Kelly Government Services building in Rockville, MD. Nine employees were recognized during this ceremony.

Laura Dwyer is a Scientific Program Manager working out of Rockville, MD. She co-authored two manuscripts on the public’s use of the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) Cancer Information Service, drafted results for a portfolio analysis of NCI-funded obesity research, and coordinated updates to the public-facing website for NCI’s Obesity and Cancer Work Group.

Kelsey Coty is a Procurement Technician working out of Hamilton, MT. She has excelled in her position by maintaining her agents’ logs and electronic files, saving the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) interest on purchases. She has also backed up other Invoice Specialists who were out of the office and assisted her team in completing file cleanup.

Josephine Hamilton is a Procurement Technician in Hamilton, MT, who saved NIAID significant funds by relentlessly focusing on missing receivables within SAFE. She has also conducted department training, ensuring consistency in the performance of procurement activities.

Wendy Milner is a Procurement Technician in Hamilton, MT. She has been the lead trainer and contact person for the Acquisition Management and Operations Branch (AMOB) closeout team. She has provided training and assistance to all new team members, which has led to the successful closeout of delinquent purchasing records.

Dawn Moore is a Procurement Technician in Hamilton, MT. As the most experienced Invoice Specialist, Dawn has taken on training all new Invoice Specialists, specifically focusing on complex payments and the de-obligation of funds. Dawn has taken on workload tracking (alpha logs), IPP invoice payments, receiving requests, de-obligation of expiring lines, and contract closing.

David Bland is a Vector Biologist in Hamilton, MT. David published a manuscript describing the louse-borne transmission of Yersinia pestis and coordinated with contractors and other staff overseeing the construction of the new insectary, ensuring requirements and expectations were met for Rocky Mountain Lab researchers.

Sean Rowe is a Facilities Planning Manager in Bethesda, MD. Sean has been significantly involved in several projects, including the completion of Phase 1 of the 4N Lab renovation project for NCI, the successful completion of the Masur Auditorium project for ORS, and the implementation of Phase 2 of the 4N Lab renovation project for NCI, finished in October.  In addition, Sean was honored with a “Silent Hero” award for his contribution to the high-profile Radio pharmacy renovation project, where he provided detailed coordination and management support.

Kurt VanNostrand is a Facilities Planning Manager in Bethesda, MD. Kurt was assigned as the Project Officer for a full renovation project of the Gateway NIH Welcome Center.  His efforts led to on-time completion and the project coming in under budget.

Jennifer Meis is a Project Manager in Hamilton, MT. She has excelled in her position through laser-focused workload and production tracking for Procurement Technicians and Invoice Specialists and by developing newly used tracking and management systems. Jen was also the backup to the entire group due to employee absences and when assistance was needed for complex orders.

Jeff Mark, Program Manager for Concentric Methods and CFFS commented on the success of the employees, “The Distinguished Achievement Awards recognize our dedicated employees for their outstanding accomplishments and support in the pursuit of science.  Without their commitment and professionalism, the impact to innovation and research would be greatly impacted.  Cape Fox Facilities Services and Concentric Methods is proud of each of these employees for their continued contributions and look forward to the additional years of support they continue to provide.”

These employees have exhibited and expertise and commitment to their work that has been unmatched. Concentric Methods and CFFS are honored to recognize each of these individuals. Great job, team!
