Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS) continues to grow with a new contract win with the National Institutes of Health (NIH). CFFS will be providing security guard services specifically for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Rocky Mountain Labs (RML). RML is part of the NIAID Intramural Research Program in Montana. RML leads research efforts on many biomedical cases. They conduct research on viruses such as Ebola, influenza, and antibiotic-resistent bacteria. This research involves extensive security needs. RML is also where many of NIH’s virologists are performing research on COVID-19 in extensive efforts to develop a vaccine. CFFS is proud to be the contractor chosen to provide the security needs for NIH’s RML.
CFFS will be working with the NIH Division of Police (DP). The NIH DP prevents personal attacks, loss of assets, criminal activity, or acts of terrorism. Some of the services CFFS will be providing include:
- Performing perimeter vehicle inspections
- Providing security services at perimeter employee entrances
- Providing guard services at selected RML buildings
- Providing security for special events
Given RML’s extensive high-level research needs, CFFS will be working hard to provide their security requirements including security guards. These security guards will screen visitors and vehicles entering RML, report any theft or threats, prevent fires, safeguard personnel, and assist NIH police with any needs they may have. CFFS has become a leader in providing security needs for government customers. They work hard to provide security so others can work efficiently in a safe environment. CFFS is proud to continue to support RML as they continue the important research that leads to vaccines, cures, and awareness nationwide.
