What do future employees look for when they are seeking a career? While salary and benefits are always important, many individuals look for careers that stand out for making a positive impact. That is one reason Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, Cape Fox Facilities Services, LLC (CFFS), has often stood out from other government contractors. CFFS stands out for its mission-oriented positions that provide challenging yet meaningful work that focuses on the individual. One such talented individual who stood out recently was Johanne St. Leger. CFFS shines a spotlight on Johanne for her positive attitude, team-spirited nature, and dedication to her work. Johanne has exceeded expectations to produce extraordinary results and, as such, is a tremendous asset to CFFS. We proudly award her a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award is presented to employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.
Johanne is an HR Specialist for recruitment and staffing on CFFS’ United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Human Resource Transformation Services (HRTS) contract. She has worked on this contract since April 2021. Her job duties include drafting and posting job opening announcements, reviewing applications, making tentative job offers, requesting SF-75 information and employee records from other agencies; reviewing, preparing, and coding SF-52s, and contributing to initiatives to improve staffing processes within the agency. She also is responsible for case file management and reporting.
Johanne’s hard work and friendly character stood out to the customer. Her on-site supervisor commended Johanne for “helping to promote HCTM’S core value of Exceptional Customer Service by building effective relationships with customers (internal/external) in support of redesigning an offboarding tool and cleaning up the USAID records room.” In addition, according to the customer, Johanne “participated in Off-boarding/Exit Clearance information gathering sessions aiding in the establishment of updated system requirements in the automation of 451 Exit form & 502 Records Management Checklist. Johanne also assisted with completing the review, purging, and disposal of all paper personnel files in the HCTM Records room from May 2022 – July 2022. These tasks would not have been completed in the required timeframe without Johanne’s commitment to excellence.”
Johanne brings that same enthusiasm to her personal life. Outside of work, she likes to travel, cook, and mentor youth. She also has a passion for helping others achieve their career goals. Johanne is an exceptional individual and an asset to the CFFS team. Her thoughtful nature, dependable attitude, and steadfast dedication to reaching for excellence show through in her high-level productivity. Great job, Johanne!
