Cape Fox Shared Services (CFSS) is spotlighting a valuable employee in Accounting, Senior Project Accountant Quy Nguyen, with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. Quy is a soft-spoken, delightful fixture of CFSS. She has worked with CFSS for six years. She is an integral Accounting team member who has exhibited her diligence in her work, ability to prioritize projects, and her organizational abilities. CFSS is honored to present her with the Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. The Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence is given to employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.
Michael Cannon, Senior Program Manager, Construction Security Programs for Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS), nominated Quy for a Cape Fox Spotlight. He commented, “Quy has been my project accountant since joining the Cape Fox Team in 2023. From the beginning, she has been clear and consistent with what she needs from me to keep our program accounting compliant and moving forward in a timely manner. She has no problem reminding me of upcoming deadlines, which I value and appreciate, as it helps prioritize my time and attention among competing tasks.”
Quy is responsible for all daily, month-end, and year-end accounting activities for two entities: CFFS and Cape Fox Mountain Point (CFMP). Quy is very diligent in collecting and collating all required invoice support documents and ensuring they are submitted to the correct invoice period. Her singular focus on ensuring she receives all supporting documentation helps others prioritize the subtasks needed to accomplish timely invoicing, such as complete timesheet and sign-in sheet corrections, and receiving all COR purchase and overtime approvals.
Quy cultivates her work to lead to success for her coworkers and the customers. Outside of work she cultivates a different kind of work. She loves to garden and is a fan of flowers.
