Cape Fox Mountain Point (CFMP), a Cape Fox Corporation subsidiary, was awarded a new $25 million contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). This contract involves construction work at the Savannah River site in Aiken, SC.
The work on this contract includes the construction of a two-story Tritium administration building, approximately 34,000 square feet, with spread footings and strip footing foundations. The building consists of precast insulated exterior panels on steel framing, a concrete slab-on-grade, an elevated deck, and a membrane roof. Additional site improvements will include a new paved drive for fire road access, sidewalks, and incidental related work.
The Tritium administration building will house personnel who manage critical nuclear deterrence operations and support the nation’s only facility for extracting, recycling, and reloading tritium.
CFMP is proud to provide its expertise to the USACE on constructing a consolidated, modern workspace for personnel at a new Savannah River Tritium administration building.
