Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS) was recently awarded a $3.4M contract for the renovation and upgrade of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The contract will support the United States Air Force at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB) in Oklahoma. The award of this contract reestablishes the construction management capability for Cape Fox Federal Contracting Group (FCG).
The work for this contract includes CFFS furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control, and incidentals required to accomplish the renovation and upgrade of the HVAC system and affected fire protection, electrical, structural, and architectural renovation. The work will be done in two phases; phase one for floor one and phase two for the second floor. Completion of the contract will be within two years.
CFFS intends to work closely with the client to ensure this project is completed satisfactorily. CFFS will work with the Government Project Manager/Construction Inspector and the Agency POCs to coordinate procedures; means of access; space for storage of materials and equipment; and use of approaches, corridors, and stairways.
As Cape Fox Shared Services reinstitutes its construction management capabilities, CFFS currently has an additional seven bids pending for roof repairs of various facilities at Tinker AFB. CFFS looks forward to its partnership with the US Air Force. CFFS’ mission is providing the highest quality service while supporting and successfully executing our client’s request.
