Occupational health is the practice of promoting and protecting the health of workers. It focuses on the physical, mental, and social well-being of workers by identifying, preventing, and educating the workforce on healthcare issues. Cape Fox Federal Contracting Group (FCG) has become a premier provider of occupational health services to our government customers. In September, Cape Fox Endeavor (CFE) won a contract with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide occupational health services to its employees. This is the most significant contract win in CFE’s young history.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is the nation’s primary federal agency responsible for protecting human health and the environment. Under the contract, Eagle Health will provide occupational health services to include:
- Providing program and project management, transition services, and occupational health unit operation.
- Medical services, including immunization and surveillance programs, are provided to the EPA office, laboratory, and field locations.
- The occupational health, medical, and clinical services, including testing and evaluations.
- Deliverables and recommendations provided to the agency’s reviewing medical officer, or qualified designee, to issue clearances and certifications to agency employees conducting appropriate tasks, duties, and/or missions.
- Specific activities requiring formal medical clearance.
CFE is delighted to work closely with the EPA. This is the first contract award for CFE to provide services to the EPA. Mark Owens, Director of Operations for CFE, commented on this milestone contract win, “I couldn’t be more excited for Endeavor. I am anxious to build an amazing relationship with the EPA where the Cape Fox family can become a preferred vendor for such an important agency to the United States and even the world.”
