Cape Fox Communications Team is now an award-winning team. In 2019, led by Jacob Mosholder, Sr. Multimedia Producer, Cape Fox Shared Services created a video about the life of working at Cape Fox. From video idea to completion, it took a couple of months of work with content, design, editing, and videography. On October 25th, the completed video went live on YouTube. This video is used to encourage recruitment and for onboarding new employees of Cape Fox Corporation.
In June 2020, the Cape Fox careers video won a Bronze Telly Award in the 41st Annual Telly Awards competition. The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens. While the awards have 11 main categories such as Social Media, Online, Commercials/Marketing and more, Cape Fox was awarded in the category of Branded Content. The Branded Content category evaluates content created as a way to promote and is funded by a particular brand. The theme of the 41st Annual Telly Awards and the mission of these awards is “Telly Award Winners Tell Great Stories.” Cape Fox winning in the Branded Content category of the awards share the spotlight with other winners such as Hershey’s, Volkswagon, Fitbit, Atrium Health, and several more. Cape Fox is delighted to be included among this category as one of the great storytellers with our Careers video.
“Creating the Careers at Cape Fox video was a lot of fun! Our Cape Fox Team really came together to make this possible. The people up in Ketchikan took me around to get the shots we wanted. A big thank you to Tim Lewis and James Llanos! Everyone at the Manassas Office was very helpful during filming. Our Communications team is awesome! This was very much a collaborative effort. It was so cool to see people bringing their various skills to the table. Finally, a huge thank you to Chris Luchtefeld for making this possible!”
– Jacob Mosholder, Sr. Multimedia Producer, Cape Fox Shared Services –
When we view a great video like the Cape Fox Careers video, we often forget all the work that goes into the process. For this Careers video, our CEO Chris Luchtefeld and Jacob Mosholder, Sr. Multimedia Producer, created the idea of the video. The idea started to take shape when Jacob and Angie Lock, Senior Recruiter, further enhanced the outline for the video. Then Jacob got to work on creating the video that so many have enjoyed already. He filmed all the scenes with assistance from Deron Gordon, Umair Ahmad, in Manassas, VA, and Tim Lewis and James Llanos, Jr, in Ketchikan, Alaska. After filming was complete, Jacob then edited the video working then with Robin Ferris, Graphics Designer, for the creative graphics. Then the video went live and has been received very well by everyone who has viewed it. Cape Fox thanks everyone involved in the process and filming of this video. We are proud of the entire Cape Fox Communications Team. Below are the full credits for creating this video:
