Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) is deeply committed to enriching communities, with a focus on initiatives related to children and education. This year, a collaborative endeavor between Eagle Health, LLC, a subsidiary of CFC, and Cape Fox Cares—CFC’s philanthropy program—led to a successful Back to School fundraiser. This initiative resulted in generous donations of school supplies for local students attending West Gate Elementary School in Manassas, Virginia.
To facilitate the donations, Eagle Health organized collection points at their Manassas office and established an easy-to-use online ordering system through Walmart. On August 15, 2023, Eagle Health’s President Harold Mitchell, along with team members Sara Pourisa, Sean Adetula, and Deron Gordon—an alumnus of West Gate Elementary School—personally delivered the collected supplies.
Harold Mitchell remarked, “This event wouldn’t have been the success it was without the overwhelming generosity of our employees and their families. Their contributions have not only filled backpacks but also created a stronger community.”
Furthermore, Cape Fox Cares presented a monetary donation to the school’s Principal, Jasmine Carpenter, with the intention of further assisting families who may be experiencing financial difficulties during this forthcoming school year.
