One Eagle Health team member has achieved an extraordinary milestone: Dr. Terry Black, PT, ATC, SCS, MTPT, celebrates 30 years of dedicated service to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Occupational Medical Service (OMS), including over 17 years as a valued part of the Eagle Health team since the contract’s inception. As a result, Dr. Black was presented with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence—an award presented to individuals who exemplify dedication, outstanding performance, dependability, productivity, and a positive attitude.
Terry has 35 years of experience as an outpatient physical therapist and Athletic Trainer and has been a key driver of excellence within our team. Her contributions include:
- Managing thousands of Occupational Injury cases and ergonomic assessments for NIH OMS.
- Building hundreds of positive relationships across NIH, strengthening collaboration and trust.
- Representing OMS at research and safety fairs, delivering public presentations, and providing specialty consults upon request.
When submitting Terry’s nomination for a Cape Fox Tinàa Award, her Program Manager, Mark Owens, commented that, “Her expertise, professionalism, and loyalty have been instrumental in making our team successful.
