Aging | CFFS | Employee Appreciation | NIA | NIH | Nursing | SOAR | Tinaa Award

Employee recognition is the acknowledgment of an employee’s exceptional behavior, effort, or actions that support the organization’s goals and values and exceed expectations. Dedication comes in many forms, including hard work, innovation, strategic thinking, cooperative attitude, team enhancement, and so much more. Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) is proud of how many employees have stood out throughout the years as exceptional. CFC values all its team and the efforts each one makes toward the company’s success and any mission success. Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS), a CFC federal subsidiary, has one employee deserving praise and respect. Mia Glenn has proven herself to be a remarkable team member and an excellent employee who consistently exceeds expectations, demonstrating exceptional dedication to the mission and her work. As a result, Mia was nominated for a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award is given to employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude.

Mia is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supporting the Scientific, Operations, and Administrative Recourses (SOAR) contract with the NIH.  She began working for CFFS in 2024. She works across the areas of clinical care, research support, and facility operations. In particular, Mia supports the National Institute on Aging (NIA).

Mia’s work ethic and dedication made an impression on Linda M. Zukley, Ph.D., a Supervisory Nurse Specialist in the Office of the Scientific Director at NIA, and the NIA task leader, commenting,

“I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank Mia for the fantastic job that she does every single day, ensuring that the NIA Clinical Research Unit is up, running, and ready for action. Her dedication, attention to detail, and hard work behind the scenes do not go unnoticed. Because of her daily efforts, our team can rely on a smooth, safe, and fully prepared environment to advance our research. We truly appreciate everything she does to keep operations running seamlessly.

Thank you for being such an essential and valued part of our team!”

Mia came to CFFS with extensive experience working as part of a team and with a healthcare focus. She served as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant at a FutureCare nursing home. This experience and her talent continue to stand out. Mia has demonstrated a remarkable ability, as evidenced by the many accolades from the customer and her own team. Mia said about her work, “What I enjoy most about my current position and supporting NIH is interacting with the participants. Also, being able to help the team in any way I can.”

CFFS is honored to have Mia’s expertise and creative approach as part of its team, and we are delighted to present her with this award. Her dedication, professionalism, and work ethic exemplify the Cape Fox Tinàa Award’s merits. Thank you, Mia!
