Kwaan Tech, LLC, a subsidiary of Cape Fox Corporation and part of the Cape Fox Federal Contracting Group, has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force, Air Combat Command, to provide Contract Aircrew Training and Courseware Development (CAT/CWD) services for the E-3C AWACS Formal Training Unit at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The contract supports the 552nd Air Control Wing and 752nd Operational Support Squadron.
Kwaan Tech will deliver comprehensive E-3C AWACS training services at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The contract covers academic instruction, aircrew training device (simulator) instruction, live flight instruction, and courseware development in accordance with Air Force Instructional Systems Development standards. Training programs include Initial Qualification Training, Mission Qualification Training, upgrade training, and continuation training for E-3C flight deck and mission crews, including DRAGON flight deck training.
Team Kwaan Tech will also provide simulator operators and exercise directors, mission simulator training package development, scheduling, and registrar functions for the Formal Training Unit. This work directly sustains the combat readiness of the Air Force’s airborne early warning and control mission, ensuring E-3 AWACS crews remain prepared to execute command-and-control operations in defense of the nation.
Kwaan Tech leads a proven team that includes Sonoran Technology and Metro Professional Services, both former E-3C CAT/CWD incumbent contractors and highly experienced providers, who will continue to support this U.S. Air Force mission.
